CASE STUDY: LEB INSURANCE
We worked directly with the owner to recreate their old website into something new and modern. We reworked every page with the help of the BBS agency to make their requests a reality. We worked within their current branding and color scheme. We used similar fonts and easy to use navigation.
Out With The Old...
We started with a full Google Analytic breakdown of what's going on with their old site. We found that many of the items that were taking up real estate in the header were not clicked on at all. To clean things up, we addressed that and kept what was working and ditched what wasn't. Part of our research into this site found that sites with smiling people did far better than scary/imposing images. This main graphic in the hero is terrifying. The Leb Agency is anything but scary. We wanted customers to see smiling faces first.
In with the new
Before we started any designs, we worked on a fully functioning prototype in Adobe XD, just like what we had done with the Walters Buildings page. This helps make sure the webpage is functional and easy to use before we add the skin. This also aids us in designing because we already know how it is going to function. This is part of the UI/UX process because it focuses on the User Interface.
We heavily researched the biggest insurance sites: Progressive, State Farm and a bunch of others and discovered that the analytics showed that smiles won the day. Buying insurance on your own can be terrifying on it's own, so we wanted everything from the light feel of the site to the happy images through-out that Leb was worth your trust. Mr. Leb himself stressed that a customer's trust is their primary goal, so this symbiosis was perfect. We reworked the entire site to reflect where customers were already clicking.
It's what is on the inside that counts.
We reworked all the interior pages to reflect this new theme. Their last site was pretty dark over all, so we wanted to brighten it all up and give them some fresh blood. We worked with them to start writing blog posts to become more of an authority for insurance news. All implementation for this entire site was done by the amazing people at The BBS Agency.
